Chris and I have so many loved ones all over the country that are asking for updates on the progress of this twin pregnancy that we thought we'd start this blog to share our story, with only a few weeks (7 weeks) left until showtime! We are going through so many changes in the next two months - first, a major move back to the south; second, the arrival of our twin girls; and third, the start of a new job for Chris and a new life for our soon to be expanded family of 4!
Here is a picture from September, shortly after finding out
we were having twins! After putting together the two bassinets from their Grammy, the excitement really began building in anticipation of their arrival!
Since we are so far away from most of you and will continue to be after the move, we know once we have these baby girls many will want to see pictures and hear the stories, so we are happy to share this time with you all through our blog!
And...by all means, post comments/questions/anything! We want to hear from you too!

This is the best way to get t he word out, I am so excited that you and Chris put this up! I cannot wait to meet the little princesses..... and I agree with Robin, put up a picture or two of that growing belly!
What a great idea...I hope you both are doing well and getting lots of rest. I was way too overwhelmed by the size of my stomach to even take pictures, so cut her some slack if she doesn't put up belly pics :) Best wishes to you both!
This is great!! Thanks for keeping us updated.
This was fun to read but forget the belly pictures.... I mean really, you already live in a fish bowl -- you need "some" privacy. I think I actually figured out how to do this now....
imagine that!!!
love you all!!!!
I'll be up your way next Tuesday for a meeting at LUC. We'll see if time permits me to stop by afterwards.
Bro. Steve

Aw! How sweet! I can't wait to see you guys! :) You're little baby girls are looking so cute all ready! I can't wait til then! Love you all! I will be in touch.
Hey Bridgett/Chris
Sorry I wasn't able to come today.... just too much with the dog and too long a day. How was your massage??
Does it make the babies move when you get massages? You will have to set money aside for them to get them because they will remember and want them as they grow up.... ha, ha, ha.
Love y'all and anxious for their arrival....
I just saw this for the first time
and it makes me excited!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can not wait to meet my new nieces!!!!!!!!
can you believe I will be an aunt 2 4 girls!!!!!!!!!! love you cant wait to c ya Lynsey:)
Aah, what a cute picture of beagle Bailey!!!! I think you should let that be "HIS" blankee.... it suits him well! You'll just have to get another soft comfy blanket mom. Dogs are smart and you're right, he knows something is about to happen. I wonder how he'll react when you leave and he's left with just Chris before the babies come? It'll be interesting to see how he relates to the babies. You'll have to put a lead on him and let him "pull" the baby stroller with you behind.... that would be a funny picture. Of course with you HOLDING ON to the stroller but making him feel important! Ha!
