Growth Spurts

I am amazed at the amount of eating these girls are doing lately!! They are growing so well, and I don't even realize how well until I look back at pictures and see how "grown up" their little faces are becoming and how chubby their little hands are getting! To think of how far they have come in what will be 10 weeks tomorrow, I am amazed and thankful to God for the abilities He has given us to foster the growth of these tiny angels!

The girls are wanting to eat non-stop. I think this must be growth spurts...but right now, instead of dropping back to longer stretches, they want to eat every 2 - sometimes less than that - times a day! I am doing my best to hold them off until at least 2 hours simply because if they eat more frequently than that, they will not getting quality feedings and are getting more like snack time - which will wear all of us out. One night we were amazed to find that Savannah slept 7 hours!! But the next night, the delusional honeymoon was over and she was back up to eating every 3 hours throughout the night, 2 hours throughout the day. With two little ones, yes, we are pretty much feeding/eating all day long. However, with each cry and sweet little desperate plea for food, I can see that every little bit is helping them grow into the beautiful little people they are becoming. As they grow, no matter how tired Mommy might be, I find that my love for them grows more and more each and every day.
