Layla Grace

11/26/2007 - 3/9/2010
Rest In Peace, sweet Layla

My heart is breaking this morning for Layla Grace. If you haven't already heard her story, she is an incredibly brave and strong 2 year old little girl who is in the very, VERY final stages of Neuroblastoma. Her blog and story is HERE. It is something that no parent should ever, ever have to go through. My heart breaks for this family I've never even met.

There is this awesome interior design and furnishing company also named Layla Grace. Their website is HERE where they also blog about little Layla. Because of the similarity of the name, they have taken a special interest in sweet Layla's story and are offering a way to help. By becoming a fan of the company "Layla Grayce" on Facebook HERE through March 12, they are donating $1 directly to the family's medical fund.

It's one small way to make a huge difference in the life of the family of this beautiful, beautiful sweet and precious baby girl. This story makes me want to wake my girls up from their nap right now and hug them so tight and never let go.  When I think of things that can happen...the unexpected, the scary, scary unexpected, I am just grateful to God for today.  I am thankful for the health of our girls and the love they bring to our lives.  I am also more ready for God to come back and take away the pain of this world forever and ever.  And just thinking of that gives me hope in the realization that one day soon those strong parents and Layla's sisters will one day be reunited with a healthy, happy, energized little Layla.  And this time, oh this time, there will be no more pain. Come soon, Lord Jesus, come soon. Our thoughts and prayers are with this family.
