This summer has been filled with a lot of adventures already for the girls, and it's only June. We first spent several days at Camp Meeting in Collegedale, TN. Next we took a vacation to St. Augustine, FL for a week. And now, we are spending a week at Cohutta Springs Camp while Chris serves as camp pastor. He's had one week of vacation out of these three (since he was working at camp meeting and again this week at camp)....but the girls and I are having three weeks of vacation and not complaining one bit! In fact, I've been very impressed with how easy our little travelers are taking being on the road so much. We're happy to be introducing them to travel at such an early age as both Chris and I thoroughly enjoy traveling and vacationing to new places. Having twins can be a very intimidating thing to happen to your life....imagining taking care of two babies at the same time was a bit overwhelming at first. But now that they are here, Chris and I are feeling our way through parenthood each and every day, and loving every second. The most important philosophy we have chosen to live by is to not allow having children to stop our life...but instead, to let them be a part of our life. We hope that they will gain much fullfillment and happiness out of experiencing new adventures along side of their parents as they continue to grow. They are such an incredible joy to have in our lives....the adventure has just begun!
