And at the end of a very long day of failed naptimes in the new toddler beds....nearly failed bedtime that was filled with throwing books, turning on and off the sound machine, figuring out how to open the door, finding the baby-proofing door knob equipment, then hearing the banging on the door...but then listening to silence not very long after....we opened the door and quietly peeked in to find this:
After almost 2 years (they were about 4 months old when we split them up) of being apart in separate cribs, they found their way back to each other. Madeline climbed right into Savannah's bed, curled up next to her, and asleep they went. Sound asleep. The twin bond cannot be separated. It can be tiresome to mommy, it can wear this mommy out, but when the sweetness of the twin bond comes through, it wipes all those tiresome moments away. The crib jumpers, yet again, won over their mommy's heart as they do day after day after day.

Oh my! I can only imagine!. I think they'll be a comfort to each other, as well as partners in toddler crimes. You can't help but love their sweet, active little hearts. May God bless mommy and daddy with energy, strength, and wisdom to always stay one step ahead of them.
So sweet!
