A Day of Firsts

So today, both girls had two different "firsts". First, Savannah was sitting on the floor playing with her musical toy and she clapped her hands! So cute!! She just watched me closely when I started clapping my hands...too precious. Then later, when she was eating, she clapped her hands again! So, that was Savannah's "first" today.

Then this evening, Madeline had a "first". I was giving both of the girls a bath and they were just playing and laughing and having a great time together when Madeline suddenly stopped and became very focused. She grunted a little and let out a super loud toot! I cracked up at her and just laughed and said "that's alright Madeline, as long as there was nothing else with it!" She just smiled big at me....then I saw it. Lots of it.

I immediately pulled Savannah out of the tub and then Madeline. The tub was later scrubbed down with heavy duty cleansers. Yep, that was Madeline's "first" of the day....Savannah hasn't experienced that first yet, but I guess since she was in the tub, it was a first for both of them. :-)
