First Trip to the Lake

Chris and I love to go boating and I love to ski. Last summer I wasn't able to ski because I was carrying my two precious girls in the womb! This summer, we haven't gone because...well...the summer has just gotten away from us. So, when my dad came to visit us for a few days this week, we finally got the boat out and took the girls to the lake for the first time. They would have loved it if it weren't for their obviously necessary life vests! Bless their little "Sponge Bob Square Pants lookalike life vest" hearts! The vests are infant sized 0 -50 lbs....with that kind of range, there is bound to be zero comfort for my little 13 pounders. Other than that, they loved the boat! Madeline kept her nose plowed into the seat and just smiled while we road out on the water! Savannah slept soundly to the hum of the motor. Good times. Here are some pics of our fun day!
