Eight Months Old. Say what? Excuse me? Yikes. We're only 4 months from their very first birthday! Wow. My babies are growing up! They love, love, love to sit up like big girls now and play with each other. Bath time is getting more hysterical every day. Savannah is wild. I mean wild in the bathtub! She kicks and splashes like crazy, and Madeline is getting more and more reserved. I call her my little miss prim and proper girl! She sits up straight as a board and just looks at Savannah like "what ARE you doing?!" They are sooo different and I love it.
One of those little twin mom annoyances is when people tell me they are surprised at how different they act. Really? If you have more than one child, are they exactly the same in their behavior? Just because two girls are born on the exact same day and look the same, does not mean they are the same person. They are not. They are tiny individuals just like you and I. And I love getting to know each of them as their own little person that they each are!
Yesterday the girls spent the day sitting through appointments. First, they joined their daddy for his spine doctor appointment. While waiting in the waiting room, the girls sat up in the big girl waiting room chairs next to their daddy. Simply adorable. Next, they joined mommy for her hair appointment! Side note here: This was the first time I had gotten my hair cut in 6, yes 6 months. Wonder why?! ha! Anyway, this was the girls first time at the salon! Fun times. Then, they capped the day off with play time with their cousins McKenna and Caitlin, Aunt Robin, Aunt Tonia, and Grammy. It was a fun day for all! My sweet girls are growing and experiencing more and more in life with each new day. I love it. (Have I already said that?)

Adorable pictures as usual! And speaking of not having had a haircut in a while...I've got you beat! I haven't had a cut in almost 9 months (my girls are 8.5 months old)! The things we let go for our beautiful girls!
